Angelini Pharma is the pharmaceutical division of Angelini Industries, leading international group in healthcare, present in Pharmaceuticals and Mass-Market.
With a strong focus on Brain Health, Mental Health, Epilepsy, and a portfolio of widely recognized OTC brands, the company is committed to advancing well-being through innovation.
To support its digital transformation journey, Angelini Pharma Italia recognized the need to engage its workforce in new ways — encouraging experimentation, and building internal momentum around future-facing topics.
To meet this challenge, MAIZE and Angelini created Digital Contagious: a cross-functional training and inspiration program that used a series of online and hybrid events to expose employees to frontier technologies, success stories, and practical tools. Through three editions, the program reached thousands of touchpoints within the organization, helping foster a shared digital culture and encouraging the adoption of innovative practices.
In 2024, Digital Contagious was recognized with first place in the Corporate Team Engagement category at the AboutPharma Digital Awards, underscoring its strategic relevance and impact.
Our approach and solution
MAIZE led the design and execution of the program, combining strategic intent with creative delivery. The format was built around an accessible and engaging learning experience, with curated content and influential speakers covering a wide spectrum of innovation trends — including Virtual Companions, Augmented Empathy, Preventive Mindset, and Wearability.
The program blended high-level inspiration with practical training, offering hands-on workshops focused on real-world applications of AI and Large Language Models. More than 36 employees were involved as internal Ambassadors, helping to drive engagement and internal communication. MAIZE also developed an employer branding strategy to amplify visibility and position Angelini Pharma as a forward-thinking workplace — both internally and on platforms such as LinkedIn.
