Generative AI Impact: the Transformation Journey of Financial Services

Microsoft's headquarters hosted a new event, the result of a longstanding partnership with JAKALA, to explore the role of Generative AI in the evolution of financial services

On April 15th, in Milan, JAKALA e Microsoft brought together managers and representatives from leading Italian and international organizations to discuss the transformative impact of Generative AI in the world of Financial Services.

Moderated by Raffaele Guerra, Senior Partner at JAKALA, and featuring the participation of Stefano Storti (Senior Partner at JAKALA), Bruno Rodà (Principal at JAKALA), Andrea Scribano (Principal at JAKALA), Vittorio di Tomaso (Partner at Maize and JAKALA), Stefano Brigaglia (Partner at JAKALA), Sara Anselmi, and Mattia De Rosa (Microsoft), the meeting provided an important opportunity for dialogue on the prospects offered by Generative AI in shaping the future of financial services.

Following the presentation of JAKALA's approach to Generative AI, the launch of AI Engagement was announced, the innovative solution from Engagement by JAKALA programs: powered by AI and NLP (Natural Language Processing), it offers an unparalleled level of engagement through a personalized experience for each client.

Among its benefits:

  • One to one personalization: By analyzing individual consumer behaviors, it proposes a personalized customer journey, making each interaction unique and meaningful.
  • Customer co-creation: Through content generation, this solution allows customers to feel an integral part of the initiative, increasing their engagement and creating a deeper bond with the brand.
  • Decision making: Thanks to its ability to analyze vast amounts of data, this tool proves to be a valuable ally in decision-making processes, anticipating trends and proactively adapting to the changing market needs.

The event then hosted a roundtable discussion featuring Andrea Cosentini (Intesa Sanpaolo), Laura Zaetta (Alleanza Assicurazioni), and Massimo Piana (Unisalute), who shared important perspectives on addressing the challenges related to digital transformation in the financial sector.

The discussion highlighted the opportunities and challenges associated with integrating the most advanced technologies into existing business and operational models, emphasizing the importance of a strategic and future-oriented approach to maximize the benefits of digital transformation. Furthermore, the importance for companies in the sector to embrace innovation and adopt a change-oriented mindset to thrive in an increasingly digital and interconnected world was emphasized.
