JAKALA announces the acquisition of a majority stake in ClaraVista

ClaraVista is a company with offices in Paris and Singapore that assists major international brands in digital transformation and data optimization

One year after the launch of its Parisian division, JAKALA achieves another milestone in France with the acquisition of a majority stake in ClaraVista, a company with offices in Paris and Singapore, leading major international brands in digital transformation and strategic data utilization. The announcement marks another step forward in JAKALA's international expansion journey, as a European powerhouse in data transformation driven by Artificial Intelligence

JAKALA'S ACQUISITIONS IN FRANCE

Founded in 2002, ClaraVista is a consulting firm that accelerates the digital transformation of its clients through data optimization. A pioneer in enhancing marketing performance for major brands in retail, luxury, cosmetics, and financial services sectors, ClaraVista stands out for its integrated approach combining strategic consulting, advanced data science expertise, and ongoing commitment to research and development in artificial intelligence technologies. ClaraVista will become part of JAKALA's French division. Established a year ago by Guillaume and Xavier Cardon, who previously launched Sutter Mills with Olivier Mazeron before selling it to Accenture at the end of 2019, JAKALA France is based in the heart of Paris. Currently, the French division comprises over 150 professionals, thanks to significant organic growth and key acquisitions, including Madagence, a network of e-commerce agencies based in Paris, Lille, and Lyon, and SoyHuce, a center of excellence within JAKALA France dedicated to data, artificial intelligence, and the development of applications that leverage algorithms to serve users.

JAKALA: A EUROPEAN POWERHOUSE IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Following the integration (in June 2023) of FFW, a company based in Denmark with significant presence in Germany, the United States, and France, JAKALA aims to become a global benchmark by extending its impact beyond national borders. These integrations not only enhance JAKALA's offering of digital solutions but also broaden its geographical reach, establishing it as a true powerhouse at the European level.

JAKALA's international journey is marked by increasingly consolidated leadership in the field of AI-driven digital transformation. With its advanced approach to data analysis and a team of high-profile experts, JAKALA emerges as a reliable partner for client companies. Its ability to interpret diverse data, including geospatial information, enables the extraction of measurable insights, guiding business decisions, and enhancing investment effectiveness.

During 2023, JAKALA achieved a double-digit growth trajectory, bringing global revenues to €520 million. Furthermore, geographical diversification expanded, with nearly 50% of revenues coming from overseas. This significant step forward prompted JAKALA to adopt a new organizational model to address its growing international presence, with Stefano Pedron assuming the role of Global CEO, overseeing various Heads of Region in the markets where the company currently operates. The ambitious goal is clear: to position JAKALA among the top 5 global players in its sector.

Stefano Pedron, Global CEO of JAKALA, remarked:
With the acquisition of ClaraVista, JAKALA consolidates its expertise and proficiency in data optimization, enhancing the originality of its solutions for clients and prospects. This strategic move, alongside other recent acquisitions, further fortifies JAKALA's standing in the global arena, reaffirming our commitment to pursue this successful trajectory
Guillaume and Xavier Cardon, Heads of JAKALA France, commented:
The integration of ClaraVista, occurring exactly one year after the launch of JAKALA's French division, illustrates our journey of consolidation in the digital transformation market. Over the years, the ClaraVista team has demonstrated its ability to address the challenges of an ever-evolving market, enhancing its expertise in data and artificial intelligence. We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to collaborate with Edouard, whose team joins the 150 Jakalers already present in France. Together, we will work towards ambitious goals to make an increasingly significant impact on our clients' business
Edouard Fonkenell, President and founder of ClaraVista, added:
We are excited to join forces with JAKALA. The entrepreneurial spirit, complementary skills, and international coverage of the company will enable us to support our clients on even more ambitious and impactful projects. JAKALA has demonstrated remarkable growth in recent years: by becoming part of this ecosystem, we can benefit from numerous synergies, while continuing to guide ClaraVista operationally with the same combination of excellence and kindness. By offering new growth perspectives, this partnership also strengthens our attractiveness to the talents within our teams. JAKALA aims to become one of the global leaders in our sector, and we are proud to be part of this journey!
