Founded in 2000, JAKALA has evolved into a thriving global community of more than 3,000 members. In this new video, our Founder and Chairman Matteo de Brabant, alongside the CEO Stefano Pedron, share JAKALA's core values and aspirations: global growth, entrepreneurship, and togetherness.
Today marks a great milestone in JAKALA’s shared history: the celebration of our twenty-fourth birthday. This very special moment invites all of us to reflect on the origins that set us on this incredible adventure.
Our narrative begins with a shared genesis, rooted in the Scout group experience of our Founder and Chairman, Matteo de Brabant. A memorable journey that inspired the name JAKALA, drawn from Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book crocodile. This name would one day evolve into a pivotal aspect of our collective story.
The path to success was neither quick nor easy. Starting with four individuals, today JAKALA stands as a thriving community embracing over 3,000 members from various corners of the globe, with a presence in 20 countries and serving over 900 customers.
Today, JAKALA is actively formulating a global strategic plan to ensure that each talent receives due recognition, fostering a workspace where every contribution is acknowledged and rewarded. Beyond individual achievements, the endeavor aspires to strengthen our unity as a team, reinforcing the collaborative ethos that defines JAKALA.
«I think the three words that best represent JAKALA are “growth”, “entrepreneurship” and people», says Matteo de Brabant, «But, on top of that, there are also two key ingredients: balance and lightness. The word “together” is also crucial because it truly places people at the center».
But being together is much more than just standing side by side, it’s about sharing the same goals, the same dreams. As individuals we are strong, but together we have infinite potential.
